If you need a new affordable phone, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to great deals right now.
The excellent Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A34 are both heavily discounted, but what if you want something a little more premium?
Enter the Galaxy A54. It offers everything most people are looking for in a smartphone, at an already competitive price of £449 in UK. At its new price of just £324 at Amazon, it’s a steal – it should come as no surprise to learn that this is the lowest price it’s ever been.
But if you’re based in the US, don’t worry. Amazon also has a 24% saving there, dropping the asking price from $449.99 to just $340.
The Galaxy A54 already received an Editor’s Choice award in our 8/10 review, with Reviews Editor Chris Martin praising its display, battery life and IP67 water and dust resistance rating. Slow charging was the only real downside, with any concerns about price removed with this hefty discount.
As a result, it’s easier than ever to recommend. If a friend came to me right now and asked “Anyron, what’s the best phone I can buy at the moment for under £350/$350”, this is what I’d suggest straight away.

Some rivals might offer extra hardware features, but Samsung really has the upper hand when it comes to software. Its One UI skin is very intuitive and easy to use, while Samsung will continue supporting the A54 with operating system updates for three more years. It should therefore get Android 17, assuming it arrives in 2026.
However, you don’t have long to secure it at these prices. As part of Amazon’s spring sale, both deals are likely to expire at 11.59pm local time on 25 March.
There’s no need to be a Prime member to take advantage, though subscribers do get access to free next-day delivery.
After a 30-day free trial, Prime costs £8.99/$14.99 per month or £95/$139 if you pay annually. However, there are plenty of other perks, including access to the Prime Video streaming service and 100 million songs via Amazon Music Prime.
