Looking to buy something from Amazon? We’d recommend holding off for just a bit longer.
Amazon has confirmed that its first big sales event of the year, known as ‘Spring Deal Days’ in the UK, will be taking place from 25-30 March 2024. In the US, the event is called the ‘Big Spring Sale’ but runs for the same time.
That means six full days of deals in both countries, with offers beginning at 12.01am on 25 March and ending at 11.59pm on 30 March.
And unlike Prime Day, you don’t need to be a Prime member to access all the offers. If you don’t want to pay for an Amazon subscription, this will be the best time to buy products from the retailer outside of Black Friday.
Prime members will get access to “exciting, exclusive deals”, though Amazon hasn’t specified what these are.
There’s a 30-day free trial if you’ve never signed up before, after which it costs £8.99/$14.99 per month or £95/$139 if you pay annually. However, there are plenty of other perks, including free next-day delivery and access to the Prime Video streaming service.

Which tech products will be discounted?
Amazon has already highlighted specific deals on its own devices in the UK, with up to £50 off the latest Echo Show 5 and Echo Show 15, plus up to 48% off Fire tablets and up to 42% off Fire TV devices. You can also expect money off Ring and Blink home security devices.

On Amazon Prime Video, a selection of films and TV shows will be available with discounts of up to 50%, including The Equalizer 3, Trolls Band Together, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One and The Good Doctor Season 6.
These will be available to anyone, but some movies can only be rented for £1.99 by Prime members. A three-month free trial of Amazon Music Unlimited and three months of Audible for 99p are also available for new customers.
Details are vaguer when it comes to third-party devices, though large home appliances, floorcare, electrical cookware and home tech are all set to be included.
