Looking for a new device for mobile gaming? Lenovo thinks it has the answer in the form of the Legion Tab tablet, which is finally launching outside China.
The company has confirmed that the device will be available in select markets across Europe (including the UK) later this month. It’s designed to offer the perfect hybrid between PC and mobile gaming, but what does it bring to the tablet?
For starters, the Legion Tab is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, which is joined by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the latter expandable via Micro-SD card up to 1TB. Despite the chipset was released back in mid-2022, Lenovo says you can still expect “outst
and boasting a whopping 12GB/256GB of RAM and storage (expandable with the microSD up to 1TB), it promises top-notch gaming performance without compromising on portability.
There’s also a 8.8-inch QHD+ display, which combined that high resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device itself is only available in a ‘Storm Grey’ finish, though it’s relatively compact at 7.6mm thick and 350g.

Lenovo
The Legion Tab also boasts a 6550mAh battery and two USB Type-C ports – one of which supports the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging standard. You can charge the device at speeds of up to 45W.
The device runs Android, though Lenovo hasn’t specified which version or how long it’ll support the device with updates.
However, there are no fewer than eight different performance modes to suit your gaming style and help the balance between performance and temperature control.
Additionally, the Legion Tab supports DisplayPort 1.4 for easy connection to other devices. It’s designed to seamlessly slot into the Lenovo Legion ecosystem, combining with monitors, headsets and keyboards for a truly integrated gaming setup.
The Legion Tab is set to hit stores in Europe (including the UK) at some point before the end of March 2024. It’ll start €599, though UK pricing is yet to be revealed.
However, if you’re happy to get a device that’s not specifically designed for gaming, there are plenty of Android tablets around the same price.
