Oppo A38 launches at ₹12,999: How it compares to Realme Narzo 60x

Oppo has announced a new smartphone under the A series. This new smartphone is Oppo A38, launched under ₹15,000 price bracket. What’s more, the Oppo A38 looks exactly like its predecessor, the Oppo A58, which launched a month ago on August 8. Some significant features of Oppo A38 are a 90Hz display, 33-watt SUPERVOOC fast charging, a 50-megapixel camera, and much more. Unfortunately, the Oppo A38 doesn’t offer 5G connectivity. However, I am comparing the Oppo A38 with the Realme Narzo 60x 5G below, since the Realme Narzo 60x rolled out on September 6, and it’s priced similarly. 

Oppo A38 vs Realme Narzo 60x 5G: Display

Oppo A38 has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with up to 90Hz refresh rate support. The display has a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels resolution and offers 720 nits on peak brightness. It operates on ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13.

The Realme Narzo 60x 5G offers a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate support. It also runs on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 skin.

Oppo A38 vs Realme Narzo 60x 5G: Performance 

Oppo A38 is powered by the Mediatek Helio G70 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 33-watt SUPERVOOC fast charging support. 

The Realme Narzo 60x 5G is equipped with Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and it is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Here the battery configuration is the same, 5000mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging. 

Oppo A38 vs Realme Narzo 60x 5G: Camera

The Oppo A38 features a dual camera setup on the back holding a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

On the other hand, the Realme Narzo 60x 5G also comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera.

Oppo A38 vs Realme Narzo 60x 5G: Price and availability

The Oppo A38 is available on Flipkart at a price of ₹12,999. Whereas, the Realme Narzo 60x 5G is available on Amazon and Realme’s official store. It was launched at a price of ₹12,999, but currently is available with a ₹1000 coupon. So this drops its price to ₹11,999.
