Samsung released a trio of new high-end smartphones in January, but it’s the most expensive one that’s probably caught your attention.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is the best phone available right now, combining incredible premium hardware with sleek software and seven years of updates.
Its main sticking point is the $1,299.99 starting price, but Samsung’s superb trade-in deal makes it far more affordable. The company is offering an instant credit of up to $750 when you trade in an eligible phone, meaning you can get the phone for as little as $549.99.
This offer applies to all three configurations, meaning the 512GB model starts at $669.99 and the 1TB version is $909.99. You can also get it in any of the eight available colours: Green, Blue, Orange, Violet, Yellow, Black and Gray.
Of course, to get the maximum discount, you’ll need to trade in an older flagship phone. The Galaxy S23 Ultra and Z Flip 5 get you $750 off, as do the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. The Pixel Fold is $600, while the Pixel 8 Pro is $450.
However, if you don’t have a Samsung, Apple or Google phone, you’re only entitled to $100.
For the full trade-in value, the device must also turn on and boot normally, support charging and data transfer, be free of any cracks and reset to factory settings.
Despite these caveats, it’s the best possible way to get a big discount on the finest handset money can buy. If you’re looking for other options, or prefer the other S24 phones, see our guide to the best Galaxy S24 deals.
