Samsung Galaxy A25 listed on Geekbench: Android 14, 8GB RAM, specs revealed

Samsung’s upcoming A series smartphone is expected to be the Galaxy A25. It had previously surfaced on the internet with renders and other specifications. Now the Samsung Galaxy A25 is back in the headlines, as the smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark listings. This smartphone appeared on the Geekbench listing with the model number SM-A256B. The listing further revealed the processor, memory, and OS version of the smartphone. Let’s have a look at it.

MySmartPrice has spotted the Galaxy A25 on the Geekbench listing, revealing an octa-core processor with 6 cores running at 2GHz and 2 cores at 2.4GHz in the Samsung device. This processor is believed to be an Exynos 1280 chip, the same chip that was used in the Samsung Galaxy A53 as well. This processor is revealed to be paired with up to 8GB RAM. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy A25 scored 973 single-core points and 2106 multi-core points in the benchmark test.

Next up, the Samsung Galaxy A25 is also tipped to run on the latest Android version, Android 14 Operating System. 

All of these details shared by MSP were later confirmed by a tipster Anthony on X (formerly Twitter). 

As for the specifications, here are some tipped hardware details of the Samsung Galaxy A25. The tipster Anthony further revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A25 could feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED display. Along with that, it was also revealed that the Samsung smartphone might feature a 50-megapixel primary camera. Furthermore, A 5000mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging support was also tipped to be featured in the Samsung Galaxy A25.
