Samsung Galaxy S23 FE to boast Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 4500mAh battery: Report

The FE model is a more affordable variant of Samsung’s Flagship S series, and the brand is speculated to launch this model this year. Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has been making quite a buzz on the internet for some days. Recently, renders of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE have been leaked and now a publication has spotted the smartphone on MIIT / TENAA with the model number SM-S7110, revealing the specifications of the smartphone. Let’s have a look at it. 

Fonearena has spotted the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE on MIIT / TENAA, revealing a 6.3-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of up to 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display of Samsung Galaxy S23 FE could also support up to 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is most likely to run on OneUI 5 skin which is based on Android 13 OS.

Furthermore, the listing also revealed a processor with a clock speed of 2.99GHz/2.4GHz/1.7GHz, which is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor we can expect in the Galaxy S23 FE. Previously, a Geekbench listing also revealed the Exynos 2200 processor with this smartphone, meaning in some regions, Samsung might launch the Galaxy S23 FE with Exynos 2200 SoC. These processors could coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is tipped to be packed with a 4500mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging support. 

The listing has also revealed the camera configuration of the upcoming FE model. The back of the smartphone could hold a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel Telephoto sensor. On the front, we might see a 10-megapixel shooter.

That’s pretty much all about the smartphone we know so far. However, the launch date has not been in words yet, but we are expecting it to launch widely between November 2023 to February 2024.
