OnePlus 12 will switch Hasselblad branding to ‘H’, with a 64MP camera

OnePlus 12 is likely to be OnePlus’ next flagship offering and could roll out in a few months. Ahead of that, renders circulating on the internet suggest a design change on the rear camera placement. A report has recently revealed some renders of the upcoming OnePlus 12. This render has shown some major changes. One can spot a different camera setup on the rear. Read along to know more.

A known tipster, OnLeaks in collaboration with MySmartPrice, shared the renders of alleged OnePlus 12 on X (formerly Twitter). The OnePlus 12 could sport a big circular design on the rear just like its predecessor the OnePlus 11. And instead of the huge ‘Hasselblad’, the OnePlus 12 is tipped to feature a revamped ‘H’ branding. In addition to this, OnePlus could maybe skip out on the small steel plate that was seen in earlier renders. If rumours were to be believed, this is where OnePlus was planning to keep the rumoured periscope lens.

Talking of the periscope lens, it is white possible that OnePlus jumps on the bandwagon of smartphones with periscope lenses with the OnePlus 12. It could sport a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor. 

Apart from this we hear that the OnePlus 12 could sport a curved display with a centre-placed punch-hole, the signature OnePlus alert slider, as well as a sandstone-finish black colour option.

As far as the specs are concerned, according to the chatter on the internet, the OnePlus 12 could house a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with improved LTPO tech, offering a 120Hz refresh rate. Further, the phone could run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. We are expecting up to 24GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage along with Android 14-based OxygenOS 14. On the battery front, the phone could pack a bigger 5,400mAh battery with 100-watt fast charging support and 50W wireless fast charging.
