Apple is highly rumoured these days because of its upcoming smartphone lineup, the iPhone 15. The iPhone 15 series is expected to include four smartphones as usual but what could be different this year is the high-end model Pro Max might be changed with Ultra. We have heard rumours about iPhone 15 Ultra previously as well, and now it is back again with another major tip. The iPhone 15 Ultra is anticipated to feature a periscope lens. Let’s take a closer look at this tip.
A X (formerly Twitter) user, Andrew O’Hara, has posted that he is receiving multiple reports of Apple will include the iPhone 15 Ultra this year, rather than the Pro Max model. He added the iPhone 15 Ultra could be equipped with a 10x periscope lens. That means it will be able to zoom up to 10x. Same optical we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 10-megapixel sensor. However, it is not revealed yet which sensor Apple will use, but a report claimed an 1-inch Sony IMX903.

More we know about iPhone 15 series is that the lineup could feature USB Type-C ports and also feature a fast charging support of up to 35-watt. However, it is not confirmed yet which model will get the fast charging support. We are expecting the high-end models to support this because iPhone 14 Pro charges at 27-watt so Apple might add this upgrade in iPhone 15 Pro and Ultra.
A report has also claimed a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor in all four models this year. Unlike we saw that sensor in only Pro models last year. According to this report, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Ultra will also be equipped with a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens, but with a smaller lens size than iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

One more upgrade we could see in iPhone 15 Pro and Ultra. This new upgrade is the Action Button. The apple is tipped to remove its famous mute slider with the Action Button is expected to be used for more than just muting. Apple iPhone 15 Ultra could be powered by the 3nm A17 Bionic chipset.
